Film Project
QQI level 3 & QQI level 5 Film Training Courses.
We are offering 3 modules this semester, September 2024.
Scriptwriting (QQI Level 5)
Tuesdays 10am-3:30pm 26th September to 17th December (with Mid-term break)
Participants will write a treatment, script, logline and pitch for their original short film to an industry standard layout, present their own script in a pitch and analyse different script formats.
You will need to have access to a laptop/computer, (scriptwriting software will be supplied).
Media Analysis and Editing (QQI Level 5)
Thursdays 10am-4:30pm 26th September to 20th March (with breaks for Mid-term and Christmas holidays)
Participants will analyse different media and learn editing skills. There will be written work and editing skills assessments. Adobe Premiere Pro software will be provided.
Introduction to Film and Editing (QQI Level 3)
Fridays 10am-1pm 27th September to 28th March (with breaks for Mid-term and Christmas holidays)
Learn about film and crew roles in this hands-on course. Prep, shoot and edit a short video in a small group, acquire practical and technical skills for filming and editing video.
All equipment and editing software will be supplied in class.
